I was walking my dog downtown the other day when I saw former city manager Cleve Morris riding his bike. We said “hello” to one another and then went about our business. A few minutes later, it occurred to me that Mr. Morris has some time on his hands, and it would certainly spice up the fall city election if he were to decide to run for mayor of Patterson — after all, he lives within city limits and certainly has a lot of background in city government matters.
So, what would you say, Cleve, if your fellow citizens started chanting, “Run, Morris, run”? I’m only kidding, of course. Kinda, sorta — hmm?
