On March 24, police responded to a report that a house on 1200 Grebe Lane had been burglarized earlier that day. After finding fingerprints, police matched them to Adrian Lopez, a 19-year-old resident of Patterson.
Around 3:30 p.m. that day, deputies found Lopez at home wearing a bracelet on his wrist that looked like one described earlier by the burglary victim. Officers searched his bedroom and found an iPod and two other things that reportedly had been taken from the house.
Police say detectives are comparing the March 24 burglary with a few other unsolved burglaries in the area. It is not known what similarities there might be between the houses. Police say the Grebe Lane house had its window pried open with a screwdriver.
