Joaquin ‘Jack’ Tabar

Joaquin “Jack” Tabar, 93 of Patterson passed away Sunday, June 15 at Evergreen Nursing and Rehabilitation in Modesto.

Mr. Tabar was born and raised in Culver City. The Tabar family moved from Los Angeles County to Patterson in the 1940s. Jack was a man of many trades from farming to truck driver and a self-employed contractor. He later retired in Patterson. He embraced life and was the life of the party at most family events. He was a passionate and loving man.

Mr. Tabar is survived by his son, Mark Tabar and sister, Ramona Jensen.

A Memorial Service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 2 at Hillview Funeral Chapel in Patterson.

Services conducted by Hillview Funeral Chapel, Gustine.
