The Crows Landing Post Office was hit with a burglary over the weekend sometime between Friday, April 25 and Monday, April 28 after postal employees discovered the break in Monday morning.

U.S. Postal Inspector Troy Dickinson out of the Postal Inspection Service Office in Sacramento said Monday that the exact time and date of the crime had not been established and the incident was being investigated by Postal Inspectors.

The burglary of a postal facility is a federal crime that carries up to a five year prison term, Dickinson said.

Anyone with information on the incident is asked to call the United States Postal Inspection tip line at 877-876-2455.
