Bingo fundraiser scheduled

WHEN: 2:30 p.m.

WHERE: Hammon Senior Center, 1033 W. Las Palmas Ave.

DETAILS: The Hammon Senior Center will host a Bingo fundraiser to raise money for senior activities on the second Tuesday of each month. The $10 entry fee entitles the player eight Bingo cards for seven games.

Financial aid workshops set

WHEN: 6:30 p.m., both nights

WHERE: Patterson High School, 200 N Seventh St.

DETAILS: Patterson High School will sponsor two Cash for College Financial Aid Workshops — one will be in Spanish on Jan. 15 and the other in English on Jan. 16.

Both will start promptly at 6:30 p.m. in the Tech Building Computer Lab.

Parents and students should bring the following information to be able to start their FAFSA process: Social Security Numbers; full and legal names of students and parents; birthdates; copy of 2013 taxes and a 2012 tax statement.

Patterson Teen Center anniversary party

WHEN: 3 to 7 p.m. on Jan. 31

WHERE: 1040 W. Las Palmas Ave., Ste. B

DETAILS: The Patterson Teen Center will host its second year anniversary party on Jan. 31. Community members are invited to stop by and to enjoy activities and refreshments and listen to the music provided by a disc jockey. Donation drawing prizes are available as well.
