An Internet website has identified several businesses heading into the Patterson Wal-Mart Shopping Center. Several buildings on the property of the Wal-Mart Supercenter are currently being erected and while two businesses have been known—Panda Express and Gamestop— others have remained a mystery until recently.
According to the commercial real estate website loopnet.com, which lists commercial properties for rent, lease or purchase, six more businesses will be moving into the shopping center at the busy southwest corner of Ward and Sperry Avenues.
In addition to Panda Express and Gamestop, Verizon Wireless and Metro PCS are listed to take up residence, as well as Togos sandwiches, Little Caesar’s Pizza, Great Clips and Smile Shine Dental. Two other 1,250-square-foot shops are still available and continue to be marketed.
City Manager Rod Butler said the city’s government was very excited at the developments and the mix of businesses coming in.
“It is continuing evidence of Patterson’s attractiveness to business,” he said. “It’s a good mix of tenants.”
Christopher Sill, a realtor assigned to the project, did not return calls as of Tuesday, Nov. 5.
