Four girls soccer players from Patterson High were recently picked as all-league performers by coaches of the Western Athletic Conference.

The four Patterson seniors made the 2013 all-WAC girls soccer teams, the league office announced May 2.

Forward and co-captain Claudia Barron, midfielder and co-captain Eliana Varela and sweeper Shantel Perez were named to the first team, while halfback Rebekah Ruiz earned second-team honors.

The Tigers (10-9-2 overall) finished third in the final WAC standings with a 7-3-2 record, qualifying for their fifth straight appearance in the SJS playoffs.

Patterson suffered a 2-0 season-ending loss against River Valley High of Yuba City in the first round of the Sac-Joaquin Section Division III playoffs on May 7.
