About a dozen Patterson women along with their children gathered for a walk the morning of Friday, April 19 in honor of the victims of the bombing terrorist attack at the Boston Marathon Monday, April 15. The group walked from the corner of Calvinson Parkway and Durer Drive to the Starbucks at 15040 Rogers Road and back. The event was one of several similar walk/runs across the nation inspired by an online campaign started by runners advocacy group RunJunkEes.
