All the residents in the home were able to escape, but the house was fully engulfed when firefighters arrived.
While the cause of the 2 p.m. blaze had yet to be determined as of 2:30 p.m. Monday, Patterson Division Chief Jeff Breasher said the fire did not seem suspicious.
Firefighters worked for more than a half hour getting the fire under control before getting to the "mop-up" phase of extinguishing the fire completely. Several holes in the walls of the house provided a glimpse to the extensive damage inside.
The Irrigator will have an update when more details become available.
