Man shot in wrist in lover’s dispute

A dispute in a love triangle turned violent Saturday morning when Patterson Police were called out to a shooting at a residence on the 600 block of Finster Court.

Patterson Police Sgt. Paul Yotsuya said an ex-boyfriend arrived at a residence and got into an fight with a current boyfriend of a woman who lives at the address. Police said when the ex-boyfriend went to his car he was shot with one round through a car door that went through his wrist. The victim was treated at a local hospital and released, he said.

Yotsuya said police are still trying to locate and identify the shooter in the incident.
