Keith Schneider, the executive vice president and California project manager of North Carolina-based Keystone Corp., said the company’s goal was to establish medical services in that particular part of Keystone Business Park.
“We’ll keep it medical, make it a medical center — that’s our target audience for that building,” Schneider said.
The new tenants, Golden Bear Physical Therapy and West Orthodontics, have set up shop within the past week.
Orthodontist Jeremy West moved his office from El Circulo a week ago.
Golden Bear Physical Therapy opened Monday, Oct. 8. Founded in 1981, Golden Bear has two offices in Modesto, one in Turlock and one in Oakdale, and specializes in orthopedics, physical therapy and treatment of neurological, musculoskeletal and sports injuries.
Representatives from the two offices could not be reached for comment this week.
Del Puerto Health Center opened in the same building in March, moving from smaller quarters at Highway 33 and Ward Avenue.
Schneider said 4,000 square feet of space behind the two new businesses is still available to tenants.
Keystone also has 8,900 square feet to lease in a building just to the east of the complex, Schneider said.
Other tenants in Keystone Pacific Business Park are Patterson Joint Unified School District, Patterson Fire Station No. 2, Frontier Communications, GEA Westfalia Separator, furniture maker HPL Contract, auto parts distributor Affinia and distribution centers for CVS and Kohl’s.
W.W. Grainger has a distribution center in the adjacent Keystone West Business Park, and a Modesto Junior College satellite site is slated to open in 2013 on a four-acre parcel that has been sold by the business park owner.
