Local 50-Plus Club meets Monday New officers will lead the Patterson 50-Plus Club this year. They are Barbara Stephens, president; Billy Crisp, vice president; Nancy Silfer, secretary; and Laura Broggi, treasurer. The club will meet at 5 p.m. Monday at the Patterson Senior Center, 700 F St. Those who attend are asked to take their favorite dish and a place setting to the potluck. Coffee and tea will be served. Sue Henderson, Barbara Hartsell, Sandy McDowell, Lena Peters and Marie Archer will be on the host committee for Monday’s meeting. Anyone older than 50 is invited to join. Annual dues of $10 per person are due at the Monday meeting. The group ended the 2007 year with a turkey dinner and Christmas Party on Dec. 17. Casino Night coming up The seventh annual Helping Our Westside Mardi Gras Ball and Casino Night will be from 7 to 11 p.m. Feb. 2 at Sacred Heart Catholic School’s Bonaventure Hall, 505 M St. The event, for those ages 21 and older, will include roulette, craps, blackjack, food and dancing to music played by disc jockey Bear from KAT Country radio.
