At a glance WHAT: Patterson Unified School District board meeting WHEN: 7 p.m. Monday WHERE: District office, 510 Keystone Blvd. INFO: 895-7700 The Patterson Unified School District board will hear all about Patterson High School at its 7 p.m. Monday meeting. Topics will cover a popular assessment test, a presentation on safety at the school and the creation of a task force to change the high school schedule. Dianne Vargas, Patterson High guidance coordinator, will review the nationally used WorkKeys assessment tests that local seniors took in the fall. WorkKeys measures job skills and targets training for specific jobs that may fit students’ skills. James Lake, the school’s assistant principal of discipline, attendance and safety, will present an update on safety at the high school. Principal Dave Stubbs will ask the board to create a task force to look into making a six-period day instead of the present seven class periods. Also at the meeting, three district employees will be recognized with a Making A Difference Award.
