The Howard Training Center Senior Meal Program provides lunches at noon Monday through Friday at Patterson Senior Center, 700 F St. The suggested donation is $2 for anyone age 60 or older. Those younger than 60 pay $4.50.
Reservations should be made a day in advance by calling 892-5957 before noon. All meals are served with 8-ounce containers of low-fat milk.
- Today: Hamburger stroganoff, peas and carrots, green salad, fresh orange, dinner roll.
- Thursday: Baked ham, sweet potatoes, winter mix vegetables, fruit crisp, whole-wheat bread.
- Friday: Meatloaf, mashed potatoes, fiesta vegetables, fruit cocktail, whole-wheat bread.
- Monday, Jan. 7: Baked fish, broccoli-cheese bake, carrots, whole-wheat bread, fresh fruit.
- Tuesday: Johnny Marzetti casserole, corn, green salad, pineapple-mandarin mix, dinner roll.
- Wednesday: Stuffed cabbage casserole, green beans, apricots, whole-wheat bread.
- Thursday: Orange-glazed chicken, rice pilaf, cucumber salad, herb-seasoned spinach casserole, fruit cocktail.
- Friday: Taco salad with meat, cheese, pinto beans, lettuce, tortilla chips, ambrosia salad.
- Monday, Jan. 14: Chili macaroni, fiesta vegetables, green salad, pears, whole-wheat bread.
- Tuesday: Pork roast, roasted potatoes, German-style cabbage, baked apple crisp, dinner roll.
- Wednesday: Chicken and pasta with broccoli, baked zucchini, apricots, orange juice.
- Thursday: Salisbury steak, scalloped potatoes, California mixed vegetables, applesauce, whole-wheat bread.
- Friday: Turkey tetrazinni, mixed vegetables, tossed salad, pineapple and mandarin mix, whole-wheat bread.
- Monday, Jan. 21: Rigatoni, green beans, applesauce, orange juice, whole-wheat bread.
- Tuesday: Yankee pot roast, roasted potatoes, carrots, biscuit, orange wedges.
- Wednesday: Baked hamburger patty with mushroom sauce, mashed potatoes, broccoli-cheese bake, apricots.
- Thursday: Oven-fried chicken, mashed sweet potatoes, corn, mandarin oranges, whole-wheat bread.
- Friday: Barbecued pork sandwich on a bun, minestrone soup, coleslaw, peach crisp.
- Monday: Jan. 28: Savory baked fish, seasoned corn, spinach, pasta salad, peaches.
- Tuesday: Baked pork chops, rice, cauliflower, peas, baked apple crisp.
