Little League signups set Signups start today for the newly formed Patterson Little League youth baseball and softball program. The Patterson County baseball traveling team and Patterson Parks and Recreation Department baseball have merged into Little League, with league play starting in April. The first of four signup sessions will be from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. today at the Patterson Library, 46 N. Salado Ave. A fundraiser and signup session will be from 5 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Mountain Mike’s Pizza, 1015 Sperry Ave. Signups also will be Wednesday after school at Northmead, Apricot Valley and Las Palmas elementary schools and at Creekside Middle School. The final session is 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Dec. 15 at the Patterson Library. Little League will offer T-ball for ages 5 to 7, boys baseball and girls softball in the minor division for ages 8 to 10, boys baseball and girls softball in the majors division for ages 11 to 12, and boys baseball and girls softball for ages 13 to 15. The new Little League will be open to Patterson, Westley, Grayson, Crows Landing and Vernalis.
