Patterson Unified School District’s board of trustees will get an update Monday about special-education classes for the severely disabled and learning-disabled students.

Dave Hodge, the district’s director of student services, will present the annual overview of the class demographics of the 13 students enrolled and give a breakdown of the class schedule and special activities for the students.

Mark Wheeler, manager of facilities and construction for the district, will take the Patterson High School master plan to the board for review. Improvements and expansion of high school buildings will be carried out in phases. The school will get more restrooms, a central administration office, a place for students to eat during bad weather, expansion of the library and a new career center, among other improvements.
Adrienne Chaney, Patterson parks and recreation director, will present an overview of programs and activities offered through the city’s parks and recreation department.
