Crafters complete fall projects
Patterson Senior Center Crafters will meet this month from 1 to 3 p.m. Fridays at Patterson Senior Center, 700 F St. 

Stampin’ Up class with Terri Cryer will be today, and is the only Wednesday class this month. Other classes are as follows: 
  • Friday — Watercolor painting taught by local artist Vi Parker. Artists should bring their own paper tablet, colors and brushes. Parker also has materials for beginners.
  • Nov. 16 — Betty Carlson will furnish supplies for this beading and necklace-making class. Crafters may bring their own supplies if they wish.
  • Nov. 23:  — No class; Thanksgiving holiday.
  • Nov. 30: — Crafters will package cookies for U.S. soldiers in Iraq. Those who attend should bring a fresh batch of homemade, non-crushable, cookies.

Senior Lunches
The Howard Training Center Senior Meal Program provides lunches at the Patterson Senior Center, 700 F St. Lunch is served at noon Monday through Friday. The suggested donation is $2, or $3.50 for anyone younger than 60.

Reservations should be made a day in advance by calling 892-5957 before noon. All meals are served with 8-ounce containers of low-fat milk

TODAY: Hamburger, lettuce, tomato, ketchup, mustard, potato soup, carrot-raisin salad, fresh orange.  
 
THURSDAY: Roasted chicken thighs, buffet potato casserole, marinated garden vegetables, whole-wheat bread, fresh fruit.

FRIDAY: Cheesy beef and rice casserole, fiesta vegetables, spinach salad, cornbread, fruit cocktail.          

MONDAY, Nov. 12: Barbecue chicken, baked beans, coleslaw, cornbread, peaches. 
      
TUESDAY: Lasagna, spinach, green salad, whole-wheat roll, pineapple.  

WEDNESDAY: Birthday celebrations; chef’s special.    

THURSDAY:  Chicken breast with mushroom sauce, rice pilaf, dilled baby carrots, apple cabbage slaw, fruit cocktail.  

FRIDAY: Beef tips over egg noodles, peas, green salad, mandarin oranges, whole-wheat bread.       

MONDAY, Nov. 19: Meatloaf, mashed potatoes with gravy, fiesta vegetables, fruit cocktail, whole-wheat bread.  
   
TUESDAY: Beef stew, biscuit, Waldorf salad, orange juice, oatmeal cookie.

WEDNESDAY: Turkey, mashed potatoes, California mix vegetables, cranberry sauce, dinner roll, pumpkin pie.   
     
THURSDAY: Thanksgiving Day; closed     
 
FRIDAY: Closed 
 
MONDAY, Nov. 26: Johnny Marzetti corn, green salad, mandarin oranges with pineapple, dinner roll.      
 
TUESDAY: Orange glazed chicken, rice pilaf, herb spinach casserole, cucumber salad, whole-wheat bread, fruit cocktail. 

WEDNESDAY: Stuffed cabbage casserole, green beans, roasted red potatoes, whole-wheat bread, apricots. 
   
THURSDAY: Baked fish, tarter sauce, broccoli-cheese bake, carrots, fresh fruit, whole-wheat bread.
 
FRIDAY: Taco salad with meat, cheese, pinto beans, lettuce, salsa, Mexican corn soup, tortilla chips, ambrosia salad.
