Apricot Valley Elementary School's Halloween Fun Night and Frankenfest draws 300 in Patterson
 Students celebrate at Apricot Valley Elementary School’s Halloween Fun Night Friday. The event, hosted by the school Parent Teacher Group, attracted 400 people.
 Guitarist Charlie McCore and keyboardist Alex Arestegui of the Turlock band Jupiter is Useless play Friday at Frankenfest, a local music festival now in its third year. The event featured five disc jockeys and 10 bands, and drew a crowd of more than 300 people.
