Martinez, Reed marry in Pleasanton
 Alberta Martinez of Patterson and Thomas John Reed of Pleasanton were married at 2 p.m. Aug. 14 at St. Augustine Catholic Church in Pleasanton. The Rev. Daniel Danielson officiated at the ceremony.
Alberta is the daughter of Javier and Reyna Martinez of Patterson. She is a 1990 Patterson High School graduate and a 1994 graduate of California Beauty College in Modesto. She is a hairstylist at Hair Reflections Salon in Patterson. She enjoys spending time with her children, David Saucedo, Nicolas Perez and Jordan Reed and watching movies. She is a San Francisco 49ers fan.
Thomas is the son of Ron and Judie Reed of Pleasanton. He graduated from Amador Valley High School in Pleasanton in 1989 and also graduated from I.B.E.W. J.A.C.T. Training Center in San Leandro.
Thomas is an electrician for DGM Electric in Livermore. He enjoys spending time with his new bride and his family. He is an Oakland Raiders fan.
Alberta’s sisters, Maria Zepeda and Gabby Martinez, both of Patterson, were matron and maid of honor respectively. Alberta’s sisters-in-law, Maria Zepeda of Delhi and Krizel Cruz of Patterson, her friends, Kim Guzman and Alicia Ramirez, both of Patterson, and Maria Carrillo of Turlock and Christy Luthey of Ripon, were bridesmaids.
The groom’s son, Jordan John Reed of Pleasanton, was best man. The bride’s son, David Saucedo, and her brother, Val Martinez, both of Patterson, and the groom’s friends, Danny Santos of Manteca, Chris Mammola and Scott Mammola, both of Pleasanton, Joe Sissung of Sacramento and Jeff Arlt of Livermore, were ushers. Alberta’s son, Nicolas Perez, was ring bearer. The couple had two flower girls, Sienna Zepeda, the bride’s niece, and Cynthia Vazquez, the bride’s goddaughter; both of Patterson.
The reception for 150 guests was at the Pleasanton Senior Center in Pleasanton.
After a seven-day Caribbean cruise honeymoon, the couple is at home in Patterson.
