PHS trick or treat for those in need
Patterson High School Kids Helping Kids will take donations for its Christmas project from 5 to 7 p.m.
Wednesday throughout Patterson, Grayson and Westley.
Kids Helping Kids is a group of PHS students who are working to get clothing and toys for 20 children in need at Christmas time. The students are halfway to their $3,000 goal. The group needs chaperones to pick up a child at 5 p.m. Dec. 5 and take the child shopping in Turlock. Then, children and chaperones will come back to Patterson to a party with Santa Claus.
Kids Helping Kids is also having a penny drive and recycling campaign to raise money.
Community members can send donations to Patterson High School, c/o Kids Helping Kids, 201 N. Ninth St., in Patterson.
