Job projects needed now EDITOR, Regarding West Park’s Crows Landing inland port project, we have to fight for something that will give our community a better future and jobs close to home. The more time the county takes to make a decision, the more properties will be lost and the more taxes will be lost. People need to work close to their homes so they will have more time to take care of their families. When people are out working hard these days, their children might be doing crazy stuff. The county needs to act right now. We need jobs created right now, including jobs for low-income people, such as in factories and malls. We need jobs for handymen and job training for people to work in electronics and with computers. Hector A. Oliva, Patterson
