50-Plusers share spaghetti Orestimba 50-Plus Club will serve spaghetti at 12:30 p.m. Friday at L.J. Newman Hall, 649 Orestimba Road, in Newman. Folks should bring their own table service. Recording secretary Connie Andersen read the minutes and correspondence Oct. 5. Sunshine cards went to Everett Souza, Erma Santos and Rosemary Bettencourt. Sympathy cards were sent to Dave Reed and to the family of Augie Alves. Millie Moudry was thanked for donating coffee to the club. A thank-you note was received from Alice Rose. Rosemary Bettencourt thanked the club for her card. Club members sang the birthday song to Lucretia Brant and Kay Krause. Al Hernandez won the 50-50 prize, and Ellie Greer won the sign-in prize. The nominating committee for next year’s officers will be Thelma Hansen, Lorraine Bettencourt, Connie Andersen, Dave Reed and Barbara Tosta. For information: 862-2063.
