Two Patterson residents and a woman from Ceres have been released from the hospital after a crash Friday afternoon at Highway 33 and Sequoia Avenue, north of Patterson.
California Highway Patrol Officer Tom Killian said all three were wearing seat belts.
Marisol Casillas, 25, of Patterson, was driving southbound on Highway 33 in a 1991 Geo Prizm when she turned left onto Sequoia Avenue at 2:40 p.m. in front of a Volkswagen Jetta driven by Esmerelda Segovia, 39, of Ceres, according to a CHP report.
The Jetta hit the Prizm and then crashed into a Toyota Tundra driven by Patterson resident Harry Shimizu, 78. The Tundra was following the Prizm.
Segovia had cuts to her face and an injured leg, and she complained of head, chest and neck pain, according to the CHP. Casillas reported abdominal pain, and Shimizu told police his chest hurt.
Killian said all the injuries appeared to be minor at the crash scene. All three drivers were taken by ambulance to Doctors Medical Center in Modesto.

Seems like there's plenty of distance to see oncoming cars north or southbound on HWY 33/Sequoia.
