Many questions went unanswered at the Irrigator's Candidates Night Forum. So we sat each candidate down and hit them with your questions. Here are our follow-up interviews. (Note: City Council candidate Victor Slonksnis did not respond to multiple requests for a follow-up interview.) For full coverage from the Candidates Night Forum, click here. I think she looks more like Tina Fay, who I personnally like. She did a great interview with David Letterman, Tina not Annette.

First I would like to clear up the Patterson Irrigators statement that I didn't respond to a follow-up interview. I advised John Saiz (Reporter) I was busy with other appointments related to the Election.

The above statement is incorrect... What would I do about the "M" street crossing? I would fix it,children are every day in danger of being run over, and the City is repaving the streets on American Eagle. This is the kind of City Government that is in place now. Q2. What City mirrors my vision of Patterson, and Why? As I have stated before,Pleasonton. The City Government is well run,and has many activities in the Downtown area for the Community to do. It would have been nice if we had wider streets like Downtown Pleasonton. When the streets are wider you don't feel so cramped. More inviting feeling the city exouds. Q3.What can I do to make sure the East side of Patterson doesn't fall further behind? I believe the best thing we can do for the East side of Patterson is start a YMCA chapter, and contact the decision makers at the YMCA to make that happen. Q4.Am I for or against the Half Cent sales tax? For in a different time when the Economy were in better shape. However, most businesses have lost 30-50% of their revenue, and I don't believe we need another tax right now. Speaking of taxes, I voted No on Measure V for the same reasons. There are several companies who are going to benefit if this one pa*ses also. These companies contributed $100,000 in campaign money to support Measure V. That Article was in Oct.13-2008 Modesto Bee in the Local News section. Q5.How would I encourage smart growth for our economy, and City? We have to get the Large retailers in Patterson to produce the sales tax revenue from Big business, otherwise a City can't grow. There is no Infrastucture in place, and no tax revenue available for Growth! This is why Patterson is behind in terms of City of like size. Also, I want to bring up a Non-Partisan Issue with Pro8. Please Vote Yes on this change in our Constitution. With out this change Californians will no longer have a choice what our child are taught in our schools, and a Preacher will be Prosecuted if they refused to Marry a Gay or Lesbian. This Constitution change doesn't take their right to be domestic partners, nor does it take away their right to medical insurance for their Domestic Partner They will still have the same rights, protections, and benefits as married spouses (Family Code 297.5) Prop 8 will not change this... It just wouldn't be called Marriage, and our children won't be forced to be taught by our public school teachers that marriage is between a man, and a man; or a woman, and a woman... In closing, No newspaper should be biased, and recommend any candidate, as this is unethical. News that is reported should only report the Facts, and nothing but the facts... The Patterson Irrigators Endorsements was just plain wrong!!! No candidate should be endorsed by a Newspaper including Me!!! If a Newspaper endorses another person in an Election, then it isn't a Newspaper it is an Advertiser for a product!!! report abuse

You state that no newspaper should recommend and back a candidate?? Are you for real? All of them do!!!!!! How could you make such a statement?? Just because you disagree with a newspaper does not mean that you should make false comments. If I am wrong, what does the SF Examiner do? Washington DC Post? They endorse!!
