Mosby, Mattison marry Cierra Mosby of Patterson and Chris Mattison of Cushing, Okla., were married May 11, 2008, at a friend’s home in Fallbrook. Chaplain Ben Howard, a lieutenant in the U.S. Navy, performed the ceremony. Cierra is the daughter of Michael and Karen Mosby of Patterson. She graduated magna cum laude from Vanguard University in Costa Mesa the day before the wedding with a degree in sociology and a minor in theater. Cierra is a part-time administrative assistant for Vistamation in Fallbrook. She also works part time at Nordstrom in Escondido, where she sells men’s fragrance. Chris is the son of Jeanne Walley of Cushing and Greg Mattison of Texas. He is an aviation calibration technician in the U.S. Marine Corps, stationed at Camp Pendleton. Cierra’s best friend, Jenn Ingram of Turlock, was maid of honor. Chris’ sister, Sarah Mattison of Cushing, and Cierra’s friends Caroline Caton of Newman, Jennifer Nelson of Murrietta, Jenny Foster of Newport Beach, Sarah Barbuto of Pescadero and Sarah Smith of Laguna Miguel were bridesmaids. Tyler Roach of Beaverton, Ore., Chris’ best friend, was best man. Groomsmen were Cierra’s brother, Jason Mosby of Livermore, and Chris’ friends Angel Gonzalez and Levi Tompkins, both of Oceanside, Mark Woodward and Brandon Daves, both of Tulsa, Okla., and Eric Cook of Sacramento. Chris’ little sisters, Piper and Peyton Mattison of Houston, were the flower girls, and his little brother, Jackson Wharry of Cushing, was the ring bearer. The couple, who live in San Marcos, will move to Fort Worth, Texas, in November as a change of duty station. They both hope to pursue higher education. Chris will study engineering, and Cierra will study family law.
