Foreman, Steen Engagement and Bike Parade Foreman, Steen to marry in July  Kari Foreman of Patterson and Nathaniel Steen of Sacramento will marry July 12 at Orchard Creek Lodge in Lincoln. Nathaniel took Kari on a day hike and proposed to her near a waterfall. Then, he took her back to his parents’ house, where their families waited to congratulate them. The bride-to-be is the daughter of Ron and Rosanne Foreman of Patterson. She is a 2004 graduate of Patterson High School. Kari attends California State University, Sacramento, where she is studying physical therapy. She works at Swanson and McArthur Physical Therapy in Sacramento. The groom-to-be is the son of Randy and Patsy Steen of Roseville. He is a 2003 graduate of Foothill High School and attends California State University, Sacramento, where he studies mechanical engineering. Nathaniel works at the Olive Garden restaurant in Roseville. Both Nathaniel and Kari are youth workers for Sunrise Community Church in Sacramento. CLUB NOTES Locals polish bikes, trikes for parade The Patterson Mamas and Me Group will host a parade to celebrate Fourth of July on Friday. All bicycles, tricycles, strollers, wagons and anything else with wheels — as long as it is not motorized — can be used to join in the fun. Youngsters are encouraged decorate their entries with streamers or flags to show patriotic spirit. All entrants should wear helmets. Registration will be at 9 a.m. at the Patterson Library, 46 N. Salado Ave. The parade will begin at 10 a.m. and go around Plaza Circle. For information: Bonnie VanDusen, 892-1424.
