Local after-school programs recognized The Stanislaus County Board of Education has recognized the following local after-school sites and staff as among the top programs in the county. Certificates of recognition for exceptional work were presented at the Patterson Unified School District board meeting June 16. Creekside Middle School after-school program — recognition for middle school after-school program. Apricot Valley Elementary School — recognition for elementary after-school program. Dallan Guzinski, Apricot Valley — recognition for program leader. Christina Garcia, Northmead Elementary School — recognition for program site coordinator. Jennifer Benjamin-Yacoub, Las Palmas Elementary School principal — recognition for administrator. Nora Hana, district coordinator — recognition for district-level coordinator. I came here to make this my lifetime home and make a difference for the betterment of my new found home. I want to bring services to our area on this west corridor and give our children a meaningful life. I want to work with them to see their dreams, and give them hope and let them know that anything is possible. People moved here to get away from the rat race, so lets all work together. I love this rural town environment and I want all of the community to work as a unit and make their dreams come true.
