Local gridiron standouts set for All-Star weekend Patterson’s Keith Yamamoto, Robby Samano and Johnny Garcia, along with Central Catholic’s Matt Lawrence, will be in uniform for the North squad Saturday when the 23rd annual North/South Rotary Football Game kicks off at Chowchilla High School at 7:45 p.m. This year’s North team will be coached by Pitman High’s Brandon Harris. Coed softball league to start earlier than anticipated Though the exact date has yet to be determined, Patterson Recreation Department will start its adult coed softball season sooner than expected. An overwhelming response to the league prompted the earlier season. Teams still interested in participating must have rosters turned in by Monday.
