The Patterson Parks and Recreation Department is working to organize a fall league of Adult Coed Slo-Pitch Softball. If successful, the league will begin in late August or early September. The dates and times of games will depend on the number of teams that join. Practice schedules will vary from team to team. Each team roster will consist of 12 to 15 players — equal numbers of men and women — and general ASA rules will apply. The recreation department is asking for team commitments by July 31. Registration fees are $350 per team. No late registration fees will be accepted and all fees must be paid in full at the time of registration. Individual players are encouraged to register as well. Those interested in forming a team or playing as an individual can call Robin Matteri: 531-3003. Any other questions can be directed to the city’s recreation department: 895-8083.
