Voter registration Monday Monday is the last day to register to vote for the June 3 election. The Westside Democrats will have a table outside Save Mart Supermarkets, 1035 Sperry Ave., from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. The League of Women Voters of Stanislaus County will also register voters at the Patterson Library, 46 N. Salado Ave., from 2 to 5 p.m. A person is entitled to register to vote in Stanislaus County if he or she is a U.S. citizen; a resident of California; a resident of Stanislaus County; not in prison or on parole for the conviction of a felony; and at least 18 years old on the date of the election. Songs and stories of trailer-park Americana are set to a country/folk/rock beat by Antsy McClain, a songwriter, storyteller and entertainer who sings about life in an American trailer park. McClain will be joined by the Trailer Park Troubadours, an assortment of musicians who play in the rock ’n’ roll tradition of their blue-collar forefathers, with songs such as “It Ain’t Home Till You Take the Wheels Off” and “She Took the Mobile Outta Mobile Home.” The group’s Web site is at www.unhitched.com. Lipizzaner Stallions coming to Modesto Tickets will go on sale May 29 for the Lipizzaner Stallions, which will perform in two shows — 2 p.m. and 7 p.m.— in Modesto June 28. Each 2-hour show at Modesto Center Plaza, 1000 L St., features 12 to 14 “dancing stallions” that emulate the Spanish Riding School of Vienna, Austria. The show also includes “Airs Above the Ground,” a segment on leaps and maneuvers soldiers once used to evade enemies in battle.
