Man booked for vandalism in addition to rock-throwing

ImagePolice rebooked Cesario Luna, 35, of Patterson, at 7:54 a.m. Sunday on suspicion of felony vandalism for breaking windows to several trucks. They had arrested Luna earlier that morning and booked him into Stanislaus County Jail in Modesto on charges of throwing rocks at cars on Highway 33, having an illegal switchblade, resisting arrest and kicking out the window of a police car. After receiving additional reports of broken windows, they added the vandalism charge.

Monday
10:27 a.m.:
Deputies responded to reports that a 12-year-old Creekside Middle School student had threatened to kill a fellow student. When a deputy talked to the boy, he said he didn’t mean it, because he knew he wouldn’t be able to get away with it. The deputy warned the boy not to talk to the other student any more.

1:47 p.m.: Police found a 4-year-old boy alone near to Patterson Police Services on West Las Palmas Avenue. The mother called police shortly after deputies found the boy, and they returned him to her.
