Food drive will help locals Patterson letter carriers will fight hunger Saturday by collecting food for the National Association of Letter Carriers’ 16th annual Stamp Out Hunger Campaign. Local residents are asked to leave a sturdy bag containing nonperishable food items next to their mailbox before regular mail delivery time Saturday. Goods to contribute include canned soup, canned vegetables, pasta, rice and cereal. Food collected locally will be donated to either the Westside Food Pantry or FAITH Food Bank of Stanislaus County Inc. For information: 892-8852. Foreclosure help available No Homeowner Left Behind and the city of Patterson will host a foreclosure information workshop from 6 to 9 p.m. May 14 at City Hall, 1 Plaza. The workshop will present information about foreclosure and available resources. A professional panel will answer general questions. For information: 895-8000. Musical evening is planned Led Zeppelin Live! starring Heartbreaker will be at the Westside Theatre, 1331 Main St., in Newman, on May 17. Doors open at 7 p.m., and the show begins at 8.
