Local 4-H group readies for fiesta
Patterson 4-H is preparing a “4-H Across America” float for the Apricot Fiesta parade.
The float will feature a patriotic theme, highlighting 4-H community involvement across the nation. It will carry members from the local group and be accompanied by members on horseback.
The Patterson 4-H sheep group will sponsor its second tri-tip sandwich booth during fiesta weekend. Last year’s proceeds from the booth were spent on equipment for the group, apart from $500 that was donated to the St. Vincent de Paul Society’s March Against Hunger, which supports local residents in need.
