 Megan McCleskey and David Pierce, both of Modesto, have announced plans to marry Nov. 15, 2008, in Santa Cruz. Megan is the daughter of Barbara McCleskey of Patterson and Greg and Karla McCleskey of Hickman. Megan, a 1999 Patterson High School graduate, attends Modesto Junior College. David is the son of Clete Pierce of Henderson, Nev., and Barbra Pierce of Las Vegas, Nev. He earned his bachelor’s degree in 1993 in economics from California State University, San Diego, and his masters degree in 1995 in finance from Texas A&M in College Station, Texas. David is a senior director of Total Rewards and Talent Acquisition for E&J Gallo Winery in Modesto.
