A large party on Marsh Wren Court in west Patterson drew police from all over the West Side to Patterson on Friday night, according to Patterson Police Services. One person at the party was arrested, and police used stun guns on two people. A deputy responded to reports from a neighbor of a fight at 10:20 p.m. involving close to 50 people. When he arrived, he found dozens of people in the street, said Sgt. Joe Camarda of Patterson Police Services. “It was kind of mayhem on the court,” Camarda said. The deputy radioed for assistance, and police from Newman and deputies in the surrounding areas responded. A helicopter circled overhead and directed a spotlight at the area around Apricot Valley Elementary School. Police arrested one person on suspicion of resisting a police officer. They broke up the party and left the court about 25 minutes after they arrived.
