In girls singles play, Patterson’s Paola Hernandez was a winner over Erica Cerutti in straight sets, 6-3 and 6-0. The Tigers’ Ashley Metzger and Cecelia Ou were also victorious, winning their first-seeded girls doubles match against Gustine’s Tasha Kimbler and Claudia Vazquez, 6-2 and 7-6. Patterson’s second-seeded girls doubles team — consisting of Catarina Lam and Gina Park — won in straight sets as well, 6-0 and 6-2. The Tigers’ mixed doubles team of Sharon Lizzotte and Jarred Chacon defeated Gustine’s duo of Zachary Griset and Nellie Luna, 6-3 and 6-3.
