Some have made a choice — have you?
Rev. Cecil Richardson Six more weeks to go, and the U.S. primaries will be over, and we will have a projected winner for both the Democratic and Republican parties. It has really been an experience to observe this process of picking the next president of the United States of America. Yes, while this process won’t truly be complete until November — wow! it has truly been something to watch. The campaigning, the personal attacks, the lies, the money spent and the mudslinging — all in the name of winning.
Well, I know a man named Jesus who is the savior of the world. He’s not competing for the job, for he was the only one who was able to fill it. He was not voted into this position, but he was sent of his heavenly father. St. John 3:16 said, “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish but have everlasting life” (King James Version-Holy Bible).
Like I said, he is not campaigning; however, he does desire to be your individual Lord and savior. So, again, there is no vote cast, but there is just a choice to be made. Joshua 24.15: “Choose you this day whom ye will serve” (King James Version).
You must make a choice if Jesus is to become your personal Lord and savior.
