The Patterson Unified School District board will hear an update and wrap-up of recent modernization projects at Monday night’s board meeting.

Mark Wheeler, the district’s manager of facilities and construction, will present a report on the Patterson High School modernization project and the school’s shower and locker project. He will also update the board on the progress of Walnut Grove School in eastern Patterson.

Wheeler will also present the facility master plan update for specific needs at all local school sites. A budget will be prepared in May and a final draft document presented in June with specific recommendations and budget estimates for costs at each campus to accommodate growth over the next 10 years.

Rhonda Whitehead, food service director, will bring trustees up to speed on the cafeteria foods served in district schools. Steve Menge, assistant superintendent of administrative services, will report on attendance at district schools.
