The Patterson golf team collected a 251-312 win over Gustine on Thursday at Diablo Grande.

The Tigers were led by senior Robert Krager, who shot a 45 en route to medalist honors.

“For someone who has only played for the last four months, (Krager) is doing quite well,” Patterson coach Diane Peterson said. “If it wasn’t for a bit of a struggle on the three-pars, his score would have been even better.”

Patterson’s Ryan DeForest shot a 47, good enough for a second-place finish. Teammates Scott Trinta and Oscar Park each earned a 50, and Preston Plaugher finished the day with a 59.

Patterson next plays an 18-hole event Tuesday against Livingston at Diablo Grande.
