Reading adventure for kids
The Grayson-Westley Family Resource Center will present its annual Dia del Niño (Day of the Child) from 10 a.m. to noon Friday. The theme, “La Lectura Es Una Aventura” (Reading Is An Adventure), will focus on activities for children from infants to age 5.  Children will be given a “passport” to each station, where children and parents can participate in an activity associated with a book. As children visit and complete each station, they will receive a stamp in their passport. A completed passport can be exchanged for a book of the child’s choice.

The literacy fair will be at 301 Howard Road, in Westley, and includes a number of local organizations and agencies.
