Citizenship classes to begin Gustine Adult School will offer a twice-weekly class to prepare adults for their naturalization interview and test administered by U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services. The class will begin Tuesday and meet from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays through June 10 at Gustine Adult School, 701 Wallis Ave., Room A-6, in Gustine. Registration will take place during the first two weeks of class. The class is designed to provide those who are learning English with knowledge of U.S. government and history, interview skills and improved communication skills necessary for becoming a citizen. For information: 854-2664. Democratic group to meet in Modesto Central Valley Democratic Club will meet Thursday at Barkin’ Dog Grill, 940 11th St., in Modesto. Members will discuss state budget cuts, and District 26 State Assembly candidate John Eisenhut will speak. A dinner and social hour starts at 6 p.m., followed by a 7 p.m. meeting.
