Young woman arrested with 31 grams of meth 

 


 

Police booked Sara Morales-Sanchez, 21, of Patterson, into the Stanislaus County Public Safety Center in Modesto at 7:34 p.m. Friday on suspicion of possessing 31 grams of methamphetamine with the intent to sell.
A deputy recognized Morales-Sanchez driving and knew her license had been suspended. When Morales-Sanchez turned into the Exxon gas station, 320 N. Second St., the deputy approached her. The deputy planned to tow the car because of the suspended license. During a search, the deputy found the methamphetamine and about $500 in cash.

Monday
3:51 p.m.: Police responded to reports that a shotgun, iPod, camera and MP3 player were stolen from a home on the 1300 block of Henley Parkway. Someone got into the house through a window and ransacked several rooms.

11:26 p.m.: Police booked a 50-year-old Patterson man into Stanislaus County Jail in Modesto on suspicion of hitting his wife. His wife reported that he hit her in the face three times and ripped the cord out of the telephone.

11:40 p.m.: Police booked Benny Baca, 37, of Patterson, into county jail on suspicion of possessing .02 grams of methamphetamine after stopping him for speeding at East Las Palmas Avenue and First Street. The deputy found the meth in Baca’s wallet.

Friday
10:07 p.m.: Police cited a 19-year-old woman on suspicion of possessing .03 grams of marijuana after seeing her hiding behind a truck on the 100 block of Tyler Street. The woman tried to run, but a deputy quickly caught up to her. The deputy reported that he smelled marijuana and found the pot in her possession.
