You are loved

I just want to simply declare to the city of Patterson that God loves you! How do I know? Jesus himself passionately cried out in John 7:37-38, “Let anyone who is thirsty come to me, and let the one who believes in me drink. As the scripture has said, ‘Out of the believer’s heart shall flow rivers of living water.’” This is his promise, that rivers of living water (of life — not death, not confusion, not depression) shall flow out of the heart of those who believe in him.

I am certain there is a person reading this article right now who feels unloved, unwanted and unappreciated and wonders why he or she should go on. You don’t have to stress any more, because God is about to bring change, if you allow him to. I feel impressed to write this article because God wants to speak specifically to someone or some people. And he wants to say that just as we are entering the springtime and are seeing trees beginning to blossom and plant life have new beginnings all around us, there is going to be a new fresh start in your life. That fresh start could be in your circumstances, in your relationships — in all areas of your life. It will allow you to enter a realm that surpasses all understanding — a realm of joy, peace and a sound mind.

The Bible states in Philippians 4:6-7, “Do not worry about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.”

Scripture also teaches us to consider the birds and the lilies of the valley as examples to us. They don’t worry about what they are going to eat or how their shelter will come about, because the Heavenly Father takes care of them (Matthew 6:26). And we who are his children, how much more will he take care of us? If we ask God for bread, he won’t give us a stone. If we ask him for fish, he won’t give us a scorpion, because he loves us. We are so valuable to him that he even knows the number of hairs on our head.

I am boldly and confidently speaking to you as an orator of God, that you are special, valuable, worthy and, most importantly, loved by God. As a matter of fact, he loves you so much that he is using a pastor that you don’t know in a community newspaper to send you this message of love. Know this, that when you draw near to God, when you call out to him from your heart, he will draw near to you. God bless you.
