Trio beats up teen Police responded to reports that three teens beat up and robbed a 15-year-old Patterson boy at 10:46 p.m. March 28.  The boy was in front of Creekside Middle School, 535 Peregrine Drive, when the three teens approached him and told him to empty his pockets. One of them hit the 15-year-old in the head, and he dropped to the ground. Then one of the teens kicked him in the head. The teens took a cell phone and $8 from the 15-year-old’s pockets. As a car approached, the teens ran off. After the beating, the 15-year-old saw a deputy and reported the incident to her. He said he couldn’t give a detailed description of his attackers, because the teens used their sweatshirts to hide their faces. March 29 4:04 p.m.: Police responded to reports of people using off-road vehicles on someone else’s property on the 300 block of Olive Avenue. The property owner fired a shotgun into the air to scare them off. The property owner said the trespassing was an ongoing problem.
