Less than a month after a Tracy man was arrested on suspicion of robbing Patterson Mini Mart on Jan. 15, the Stanislaus County District Attorney’s office has pinned a couple of new charges on him. ![]() Seft Both charges were filed in Stanislaus County Superior Court last week. Investigators suspected that Senft had been involved in the two robberies for some time after recovering evidence during his arrest. However, the charges were added after detectives received detailed descriptions from employees and witnesses. Deputy Royjindar Singh of the Stanislaus County Sheriff’s Department said the department received a search warrant for Senft’s house and vehicles and found items described by witnesses in the previous robberies. Singh did not give any other details. Police arrested Senft at about 10:30 p.m. Jan. 15 on suspicion of using a gun to steal cash from Patterson Mini Mart, 511 S. Second St. A deputy found him in the area shortly after the robbery was reported. In the Jan. 8 Carl’s Jr. robbery, employees at the restaurant on the 15000 block of Rogers Road reported that a man whose face was concealed by a bandana had walked up to the drive-through window, brandished a gun and demanded money. Employees at John’s Mini Mart, 320 N. Second St., reported a similar incident two days later. None of the people involved reported any injuries. Senft remains in custody at the Stanislaus County Jail on $300,000 bail. Anyone with more information about the above cases is encouraged to call detectives at 892-5071.
