Who's job is it???? 4 Months ago Karma: 0
Hi, I'm new in town. I'm one of the ones I read about on here y'all don't want here. I bought a foreclosure.

Anyway, moved in July 25 in the Walker Ranch area. My husband has been working in Patterson for 9 years and we finally made the move.

My question is, who do you call about these darn dog's that run loose every morning and every evening. The family just opens there doors and let them out. They have tags, I think I know were they live. But one can not go up to these people's door cause the bloody dog's won't let you. I tried to take the trash to the street Monday night and one of those dang non stop barking dogs stopped me dead in my tracks. I was unable to get it to the street. I was ticked to say the least.

OK so the honeymoon is over and I either want the dog's to stay in their back yards or I want them gone. All the taxes I'm paying on this house....I won't be held hostage by some unkempt dang barking dogs. So....Who do I call????

Ok, so sorry turned in to a rant.

I would call the police department or the animal control services, although they seem pretty overwhelmed and aren't usually able to respond right away. I might call the animal control services first and report that this is an ongoing problem and they might schedule a visit to your neighbors house. Not only is that a danger to people, but to the dogs as well, as them may be hit by a car or something akin to that.
